Paramount Gas Ranges

The Malleable Iron Range Company owned at least two trademarks for the names of their ranges. One was "Monarch" and the other was "Paramount." Paramount ranges were gas ranges. The U.S. Patent and Trademark Office shows the first usage of "Paramount" was on June 25, 1921; the 1925 Monarch Book of Cookery mentions Paramount gas ranges.

A history record of the Malleable Iron Range Company published in 1962 states: "As early as 1914 when natural and manufactured gas became available in various territories creating a demand for gas cooking equipment, the MONARCH line was supplemented with the PARAMOUNT line of gas ranges..."

Paramount items are more rare and harder to find, so they will be posted here as they are discovered.
